I stole your window seat on the connecting flight out of Charlotte from Denver to Dulles and yes I was able to enjoy the scenery. I was touched by the emotion in your voice when you spoke of the passing of your nephew, but was at a loss for words on what to say. I wish I’d had something comforting or profound to say, but what do you say at times like this? “I’m so sorry for your loss” seemed trite, but was spoken with sincerity. I wish I’d been able to offer you a ride to your destination in Falls Church, but my son wasn’t due to arrive for 1 ½ – 2 hours. I read the information about your nephew, & the blogs by his wife. I was amazed & touched by their strength, love, & faith. I hope you’ve made it through this trying time okay. If you are at a point in your life that you would like to communicate, I would welcome that. If not, just know that a stranger in passing was touched & my thoughts are with you and your family at this time. Sharon
